Golf club building

LGS Projects were approached by our client, a well-known Midlands golf club, to quote for a new building, to house the Pro-shop, indoor practice simulation bay, offices, canteen, staff facilities and storage and workshops for greenkeeper’s machinery and golf buggies.

The building had to be both robust and functional for the workshops and storage, and attractive on the elevation housing the pro-shop, which is adjacent to the course.

With the golf course itself within a few metres of the site, the brief called for a quiet, unobtrusive build process. Our cold rolled building system is perfect, with no welding, no wet trades, fast construction and no heavy plant or cranes.

We were successful in being awarded the contract, and delivered the excellent L shaped, two storey facility, featuring our cold rolled steel framed building system, mezzanines, and Kingspan Group LPC approved insulated cladding, with Micro-rib feature cladding to two elevations.

We have had many positive comments from the various users of the building, who are delighted with the result.
