Jaguar Land Rover automotive building
The client required an additional building for vehicle washing, valeting and pre-delivery inspections.
The architect’s scheme called for a robust, extremely high quality building, finished to a high standard with aesthetically pleasing materials, designed to reflect the ethos and quality synonymous with the Jaguar Land Rover brand.
LGS cold rolled steel was selected, clad in micro-rib insulated panelling, together with insulated overhead electric sectional doors.
The tight nature of the site, the fact it was a working dealership, and the number of expensive, beautiful cars involved, all presented challenges. However, the LGS cold rolled steel system, with no requirement for heavy cranes or plant and minimal time on site was ideal in terms of both Health and Safety and a lack of disruption.
The finished project was delivered on time to a very tight deadline and on budget.
