Garden centre extension (Leeds)
Our client is a successful, well established and expanding family-owned garden centre on the outskirts of Leeds.
They wanted to extend both their indoor retail sales area, and their coffee shop and café.
They contacted LGS and we developed a plan for the proposed extension.
We submitted the planning application and successfully obtained planning consent on their behalf.
The tight nature of the site, and the fact that the busy retail garden centre business had to remain fully open throughout, presented challenges. However, that also meant our cold rolled steel frame was ideal, with no heavy plant, no welding, no wet trades, and a fast build programme.
The client constructed the groundworks to our engineer’s design, and we designed, supplied, and installed the cold rolled steel frame and Kingspan group insulated cladding.
The result is a lovely extension, a happy client and further expansion for their business.
