Lumby Garden Centre (Leeds)
Our client is a well established highly successful garden centre near Leeds. They are expanding, and LGS have completed two previous buildings for them.
As part of the continued growth, they wanted additional retail space. LGS were chosen, and we designed an extension to the existing retail space, adjoining a building we previously constructed for them. This also involved a lower ‘porch’ area connecting new and existing.
Our cold rolled steel frame system was ideal, requiring less groundworks, and with no heavy plant requirements, welding or wet trades, virtually no disruption, allowing the continuous use of the entire existing retail area throughout the build. The speed of the whole process meant the building was designed, manufactured and erected on site in less than 10 weeks, enabling use of the building very quickly, and giving a faster return on investment.
The client is delighted with the result, and we look forward to working with them on future projects.
